How to measure your feet

Stand up on a solid surface with your heels against the wall. Put a piece of tape in front of the tip of your longest toe. Measure both feet and take the longest measurement and add 0.5 cm or 0.2 inches. Compare your measurement with the above size guide.

Will they stretch out over time?

The leather gives across the width and settles to your foot; the length stays put. Take your usual size.

Do they need breaking in?

Not in the painful sense. The leather softens over the first few wears and shapes to your foot.

Will the black leather scuff?

Full-grain leather marks and develops a patina over time — that's the material behaving as it should. A brush and a matching cream bring the finish back.

Can I wear Greta with thicker socks or tights?

Yes — the lace-up front lets you adjust the volume across the foot. Take your usual size and let the laces do the rest.

Do I need to re-lace them every time?

No. Most people tie them once at the right tension and step in and out from there.

Where does the shaft sit on the leg?

The shaft measures 16 cm — just above the ankle. Low enough for cropped denim, neat enough to disappear under a midi skirt.

Is the 7.5 cm heel comfortable to walk in all day?

Yes. The heel sits over the same flexible, shock-absorbing sole we use across the collection, so your weight is carried much as it would be in a flat clog.

Can I return my order?

Yes. We accept returns within 30 days of your order date. Returned items must be unworn, unused and in their original condition.

How long does shipping take, and how much does it cost?

Calou Stockholm ships all orders from their Swedish warehouse and aims to dispatch within 24 business hours on weekdays. Delivery times: Sweden 1–3 business days (to your nearest DHL Service Point), Europe 2–5 business days (Norway via Bring), and outside Europe 3–6 business days (via FedEx). Standard shipping costs 89 SEK in Sweden and 12 EUR in the EU, but it's free on orders over 3000 SEK (Sweden) or 300 EUR (Europe).

Can I exchange for another size if they do not fit?

Yes. Free size exchanges are available for Sweden and EU customers when exchanging the same style and colour.
