My 3rd pair of the Doris boot (all 3 are currently in my wardrobe). Most comfortable, funky, fav boots ever! I've had the first 2 pairs for a few years now and black boots were a missing staple.

I love my Doris boots to pieces! The ones I have are apple green, and add the perfect pop of color, yet still go with so many things. Every year I look forward to the new Doris colors that will be released--hoping for a future deep blue one (wink, nudge!).

Gorgeous shoe I fell in love with Doris, they are not only a perfect fit for my wardrobe, but really comfortable and chic! Will get more of them, bit by bit. I'm normally wearing size 41, Doris is true to size, they fit perfectly in 41!

Gorgeous Boots These clog boots are great. Stylish + comfortable. They dont have the clunk of a normal clog because of the lightweight material used, they're not wooden. I do love a wooden clog + I own some, but these boots are so much lighter + so comfortable...so definitely more wearable as a result. I have narrow feet + 1 foot is noticeably smaller than the other! I got a 39/UK 6 and they fit. I'll need a thin insole with the smaller foot but I'm impressed with the sizing, which is tricky online ! They arrived pretty quickly too. I love them + definitely recommend them 🖤.

The perfect ankle boot I love these boots. I hesitated at the price (and the fact that as a uk citizen there was an extra import tax to pay) but the company were good to very good to deal with about this, and I am so glad I bought them. They are comfortable from the first wear, well-made, true to size, and go with absolutely everything. I would definitely buy more in the future! Thank you so much!

My third pair of Doris I am completely hooked with Doris boots. They are so comfortable, look nice, I love the height of the heels and the fit well although I have constant swelling in my left ankle. Excellent quality, too, the leather is perfect. I fear I might buy a few more pairs...

PERFECT, TRULY I've tried on many platform wooden-heeled clogs and booties and I've returned most of them, except for these! The soles have true flex, making them incredibly comfortable, even for city walking. I'm a square 8.5 US and the 39 fit perfectly. I'm so happy to have found these.

Well-made and gorgeous Love these shoes! I had been eyeing them for almost a year but was wary due to the price. Glad I finally went for it. They are so well-made and look both cute and professional. A touch tighter than I anticipated (I am an 8.5 in US sizes and ordered a 39) but I feel they will stretch a bit with more use.

Can I wear thick socks with Chelsea boots?
Yes, provided there is enough room inside the boots. Try them on with the socks you intend to wear, and check that your toes can move comfortably. Do not automatically size up for thick socks, as this may leave the boots too loose with thinner pairs.
What is the difference between Chelsea boots and ankle boots?
Chelsea boots are a type of ankle boot with elastic side panels and a pull-on design. Ankle boots are the broader category and can also have laces, zips or straps. Doris Black combines the Chelsea fastening style with a clog-inspired sole and heel.
How should Doris Black Chelsea boots fit?
Doris Black fits true to size. Choose your usual size, with enough room for your toes and a secure fit around your foot. The elastic sides help you pull the boots on, but they should not compensate for a size that feels too tight. Check our size guide if you are between sizes.
Can I return my order?
Yes. We accept returns within 30 days of your order date. Returned items must be unworn, unused and in their original condition.
How long does shipping take, and how much does it cost?
Calou Stockholm ships all orders from their Swedish warehouse and aims to dispatch within 24 business hours on weekdays. Delivery times: Sweden 1–3 business days (to your nearest DHL Service Point), Europe 2–5 business days (Norway via Bring), and outside Europe 3–6 business days (via FedEx). Standard shipping costs 89 SEK in Sweden and 12 EUR in the EU, but it's free on orders over 3000 SEK (Sweden) or 300 EUR (Europe).
Can I exchange for another size if they do not fit?
Yes. Free size exchanges are available for Sweden and EU customers when exchanging the same style and colour.
Shoes that are too long
Let a heel filling do the job! You can buy a self-adhesive heel grip at most cobblers and in many shoe stores. Attach the grip at the back of your shoes. Another option is to let the cobbler do the job. Then you can also choose different thicknesses of leather for a more precise fit. That´ll be less visible than a self-adhesive grip.
A little too big shoes
If your boots or clogs have the right length but still are a little big, it is usually enough to put in an insole. There are lots of different soles to use, even anatomic ones. We recommend leather soles that allow your feet to breathe.
A little too tight shoes
If your shoes are a little too tight, they will probably fit better after a little use, when the leather has formed to the foot. But you can also let a cobbler stretch your shoes.
You can actually make the shoe both longer and wider and a little higher over the instep if needed. It´s possible to stretch the skin about one size of the width and half size of the length.
Loose heels
If the shoes don´t fit your heels, the cobbler can use a heel grip to reduce the space, or you can buy a heel grip and attach it to the back of the shoe for a better fit.
In the same way, your cobbler can use an "extra tongue" on the inside at the instep, which reduces your shoes height.
Shoe Tree
To keep the shape of your clogs, we recommend using a Shoe Tree. Red Cedar wood is perfect for shoes, it absorbs moisture and odors and keep your clogs in good condition.
